Platonic Lamp

Sculpture or lamp? This icosahedron-framed floor/hanging lamp has a complex geometry yet certain playfulness. We spent three months prototyping this lamp (Jan refers to this project as the Nightmare lamp). Be assured he will sleep much better now that it is finally completed – it stopped falling apart. Our thoughts and prayers go to the many preceding prototypes who now live in the trash can.
